A mother of seven including a seven-month-old baby has been reduced to an emotional wreck after she was gang raped and beaten by three men during the wee hours of Christmas Day, minutes after she left a home where she had gone for a drink.
The men, two in their early 20s and the third in his early 30s, are in police custody and are expected to be charged soon.
The woman, who is in severe pain, had to be admitted to a hospital.
Yesterday, she was being comforted by relatives and friends. She is unable to walk properly, sleep or eat because of her traumatic experience.

“He come and tell me that he mother calling me and that I must come right away. That was strange because she never call me over by she before. I tell he I can’t come because I got to cook but then he turn and tell me that if I don’t come he mother gon put him out”, she recalled.

She added that the woman, her daughter, the man that called her and two boys were drinking a cream liqueur. She said that at first she refused and then she drank some.
