Dear Editor,
We the students respectfully write to thank you most sincerely for the weekly publications of CXC English A and B in your widely read newspaper. The publications are of tremendous help to us. Even our teachers make full use of the articles. We are sure to purchase the papers and to cut out the articles and affix same in our books. The English B section is very helpful to teachers and students. Dr Jonas is doing an excellent job in helping CXC English A and B students. Students from all the secondary schools in Region Two are benefiting from your kindness.
We know it is costly to publish these articles. However, take comfort in the fact that in so doing you are contributing immensely to the development of this country by helping to educate the youths. Education we know is the springboard for national development. Some-where it is said, “He who opens the school doors, closes the prison gates.” Once again we express our gratitude to you and your company and wish you continued success.
