The National Federation of and for Disabled People said the Guyana Prison Service (GPS) won its recently held domino competition with 81 games.
The Guyana Association for the Visually Impaired won second place with 75 games and the Federation won third place with 65 games. According to a press release the GPS’s Denise Liverpool was given the Best Player trophy and was recognised as the most valuable player after winning 18 games. Rupert David adjudicated the competition.
The Federation’s Laurie Greenidge said he is grateful to the Office of the President and for the trophies donated and to the Chin Chan Cycle store for its support. He also thanks the McTurks and Kirkpatrick catering services.
The competition was hosted at the benab at the Saint Andrews Manse on Croal Street.
