Dear Editor,
The residents of Kersaint Park, LBI, East Coast Damerara are calling on the NDC responsible to urgently repair the part of the main access road to the community that is causing major problems for vehicle owners and pedestrians. Prior to the current rainy season, huge potholes were visible and with a little navigation drivers managed to get their way in, around and then out of these huge craters. However, the rains have caused these craters to become worse as they are now filled with water resulting in little visibility for navigation and vehicles. Vehicles are either being stuck or their bottoms are grazed as drivers enter or exit these holes as pedestrians wait their turns to avoid being messed by the slush.
It is important for some urgent temporary or permanent works be done to this road in order to make its users a little more comfortable.
Yours faithfully,
Lloyd David
