Singer Guyana Inc yesterday launched its first promotion of the year and also presented the winner of the motorcycle from last year’s promotion with the keys.
The new “Bag of Money” promotion began in early January this year and will conclude on April 5. For ten consecutive weeks, shoppers will have the chance to win up to $250,000 in prizes each week.
Sales and Marketing Manager Eric Whaul said 30 shoppers would have won at the end of the promotion. Any person who purchases appliances or furniture from the store during this period will be given a coupon to fill out to enter into the weekly draw. At the end of each week three names will be drawn, these persons will then have the opportunity to pull from a bag the prize they will take home. Among the prizes available each week are one refrigerator, one washing machine and one DVD recorder.
Adrian Bennons of Land of Canaan, East Bank Demerara, the winner of the motorcycle in last year’s promotion could hardly contain his joy. He explained that he’d recently bought a motorcycle from Singer’s and has now won another, so he had to think of what he’s going to do with the second one.
In addition to the Bag of Money promotion, the company is offering big discounts on products and has a range of new arrivals.
