Dear Editor,
The Chess world has lost an icon with the death of Bobby Fisher who became famous as a Grandmaster at age fifteen. He defeated Boris Spassky for the World championship in 1972 when he was 29 years old. His dominance in chess was in the innovations which he brought to the game through his style of play in openings and variations. He was to many the greatest chess player.
He played his last game and was finally mated by the Great Architect of the Universe.
Yours faithfully,
VO Patrick
