Acting Commissioner of Police, Henry Greene says drug-accused businessman Barry Datram remains in breach of a court order by not reporting to the police since his release and he is calling on attorney-at-law Vic Puran to disclose any information regarding his client’s whereabouts.

Greene said he is in possession of the order issued by Justice Jainarayan Singh Jr and noted that it clearly states that Datram was released and that he is required to report on Mondays and Fridays of each week for as long as required by the Commissioner of Police.
“The acting commissioner is maintaining that Barry Batram remains in breach of the order of the court in that he has not reported since his release”, the statement said.
The police statement also referred to Puran’s letter pointing to claims he made that Datram has not breached the order of the court and that the police commissioner should read and understand the order.
On Wednesday the police had issued a wanted bulletin for Datram after he allegedly failed to report.
Puran had however denied that his client had breached the court’s order. In a statement on Thursday, Puran stated “the Commissioner of Police should read and understand the order
