Members of the Joint Services found a small boy in possession of a concussion grenade in the Friendship, ECD, area on Thursday January 31, leading to the arrest of a male and a female relative.
According to a police press release yesterday the child was later sent away in the custody of his mother and the female relative was released on bail. The Joint Services conducted a number of search operations in the Buxton/Friendship area over the past two days as they continued with Operation Restore Order.
