According to a press release from the Guyana Lands and Surveys Commission (GLSC), the Government of Guyana has secured funding support from the Global Environment Facility for sustainable land management.
This three-year project will assist in the implementation of Guyana’s National Action Plan for the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification and will be implemented by the GLSC as it seeks to address a number of matters surrounding sustainable land management.
