I commend the managements of Digicel and GT&T for their collaborative statement in response to the Lusignan massacre. This was a welcome departure from their otherwise rancorous relationship.
Competition notwithstanding, two entities vying for market share in this no holds barred commercial world, would do well to set more of this kind of example. It would send the right signal, as in this instance it did, to a nation that’s coming apart rather than together.
They might also consider removing the puerile text messaging barrier which would increase communication, and by extension, security.
Something that would be most welcome during these times of high anxiety.
