Fourteen Guyanese nationals are currently playing in the domestic cricket league in Trinidad and Tobago.
The 14 players who have been registered with the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board (TTCB) are spread all over the country, representing different clubs, with some even doing coaching.
Heading the list is middle order batsman Travis Dowlin, who is currently on national duties but will be returning to Alescon Comets Cricket Club. Also at Alescon Comets is fast bowler Rayon Griffith.
Veteran orthodox spinner and all-rounder Neil McGarrell is with Merryboys Cricket Club and after the Stanford Twenty/20 tournament he will be returning to West
Trinidad to take over as captain of the team.
Former West Indies and Guyana leg-spinner Mahendra Nagamootoo is also in Trinidad and he together with the hard-hitting Lennox Cush is playing for Central Sports. Last season Nagamootoo was player/ coach at Moosai Sports Club.
This season Moosai has nabbed the services of Derwin Christian from Central Sports. Promising fast bowler Trevon Garraway is also in Trinidad and is currently with Munroe Road Cricket Club.
Over the past few seasons he lined up with Aranguez Sports.
