Dear Editor,
I have been to the G.R.A. office in the General Post Office Corporation (GPOC) building three times in an effort to get my TIN number. The lack of a system and of any proper organisation is appalling.
There is no smooth flow of applications at the office because nobody is there to direct persons to areas of “filing” and “receipt of TIN number”. The staff is unwelcoming.
I suggest that the authorities send in professional auditors to supervise the day-to-day processing of TIN applications to ensure that persons acquire their TIN numbers readily and without long delays.
