Already embroiled in allegations of ministerial misconduct, Local Government Minister Kellawan Lall was videotaped in the midst of yet another brawl, this time with a woman at a city nightspot last Friday night.
Contacted, the minister denied that the incident occurred. “I don’t know about any assault. I was not assaulted and I don’t know what you are talking about,” Lall, who had admitted that he fired his gun during a brawl last year November, told Stabroek News when contacted yesterday.
Some hours later, Attorney-at-Law Anil Nandlall issued a press statement on behalf of Lall, which said that the minister had gone to the snackette to purchase some food, when he was confronted by a woman with whom he had a relationship. “
