The police yesterday issued a wanted bulletin for a man who they believe may help them with their investigations into the disappearance of 19-year-old Friendship resident, Tenisha Morgan last month.
Law enforcement authorities in a press release last evening said that Manu Durant called ‘Manu’ is wanted in connection with the teen’s disappearance.
At the time of her disappearance the teen was heavily pregnant and had travelled to the city to deliver her baby.
Police in the bulletin said that Durant whose last known addresses are Lot 140 and 125 Friendship, East Coast Demerara, is 34 years of age, dark in complexion and is 5 feet three inches tall.
Morgan’s disappearance had sparked widespread anxiety after it was alleged that the Lusignan massacre and other acts were meant to force her return to her family.
Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of Durant is asked to contact the police on 225-6411, 225-2700, 226-2917, 226-4585, 225-2317, 227-4065, 226-6978, 225-3650, 225-8196, 227-1270, 227-1611, 227-1149, 225-6941-3, 225-6945, 225-6946, 333-2151-4, 229-2019, 229-2700-5, 268- 2222, 268-2329, 268-2328, 444-3512, 444-3351, 771-5004, 911 or the nearest police station.
