Associated Industries Limited (AINLIM) last Friday launched its line of Kobelco heavy duty machinery for construction and agriculture, and declared that customers now have better choices in their investment decisions.
The launching took place at Buddy’s Hotel, Providence and saw the presence of potential customers in mining and construction companies and contractors.
Though only now launched, the products have been on the Guyana market since 2005.
During the launch, senior officials of Kobelco Mach-inery America explained the features and capabilities of the machinery. They said that the machines were suited for drainage and irrigation works and agriculture, among other applications.
Kobelco machines carry some of the latest state-of-the-art innovations to ensure the operator’s comfort and productivity.
The officials said that in January 2008, the Kobelco SK210 LC Acera Mark 8 excavator – a unit sold by AINLIM – was named in the Better Roads magazine as one of the top 50 rollouts into the American market in 2007.
The officials said further that Kobelco is a world-famous and respected brand due to its long experience in the development and production of high performance hydraulic excavator technology, from 20 to 48 tons.
Since 2002, the company has had a joint venture with New Holland Construction from which it benefits from the structure of a world-class construction machinery manufacturer.
