The Region Four administration has joined the nation in expressing its outrage and condemning the recent killings at Bartica.
In a press release the region said the killings should be seen as a wake-up call for Guyanese to become each other’s keeper in times of distress. “It must be clear to everyone that the nation must rise to put an end to their reign of terror and work to establish a secure and calm society,” the region said.
The administration urged the residents of Region Seven to go about their business in calm and peace and allow the police to investigate the incident.
