Dear Editor,
It is pleasing to see that government has once again placed emphasis on the security sector in its annual budget through the allocation for the acquisition of much needed equipment to increase the police force’s efficiency to capture criminals.
If what I read in the newspaper is indeed true with the forensic lab, a more enhanced intelligence unit, helicopters among other modern equipment the force will be getting this year; kudos must be given to the government.
This equipment is appropriate at the time when criminals seem to have lost all sense of decency.
While, government is working to equip the force, we must support our lawmen and women in their fight against crime since intelligence is key in crime fighting.
