Two men were remanded for allegedly robbing a schoolboy at knifepoint when they appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton in the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
Godfrey Stafford, 31, and Huburn Inniss, 29, of Bent Street, Werk-en-Rust allegedly robbed Lester Persaud of one wallet valued $4,000 and $500 on February 27 on Camp Street, Georgetown.
According to prosecutor, Desiree Fowler, bail should be refused because of the seriousness and prevalence of the crime and considering also that it was committed against a minor.
The two men will have to return to court on March 19.
