(Trinidad Express) Early last week, Ryan “Whiteboy” Sattaur was advised by his uncle to “stay home” after getting into a fight with a man unknown to him.
The advice sadly, was not heeded by the 28-year old father of one, as he was stabbed to death at Johnny’s Bar, Clementy Street and Eastern Main Road, El Dorado, on Friday night by two men who ambushed him.
His uncle, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, could not say if the attack was directly related to the fight earlier in the week, but believed that any dispute could have been settled if the men had spoken to Sattaur.
“I think it was a waste. He was the type of person, if you had gotten to know him he would have look out for you. Sometimes people he didn’t even know he would treat like long time friends,” said his uncle at the Forensic Science Cen-tre, in Federation Park.
Sattaur, a US citizen who was born in Guyana, came to Trinidad to help his uncle’s business. Friends described him as well-meaning and charitable person.
It is believed that his attackers are related to an officer attached to the North Eastern Division Task Force.
