EcoVentures Travel, a US tour operator that specialises in wildlife trips to Africa, Central and South America says there is great potential for birding in Guyana as some of the species that are hard to find on the continent are abundant here.
Director Ken Klotz made this observation when he took a group of six persons to some of the country’s premier birding locations from February 15-24 a press release from the Guyana Trade and Investment Support programme said. Klotz said the trip was “fantastic and everyone had a great time”, adding that of the South American competitors, “Some species that are hard to find in other countries are relatively abundant here
