Dear Editor,
Today I was shown an invitation card to the Good Friday Exercise by “the Christian Community”. Ear-lier a well-known citizen had written a letter of caution even though he supported the idea. Was he seeing or knowing something we may have missed.
The theme states “The Church Properly Positioned for Prominence”. Why the acronym of PPP, the theme itself is not inspiring, but it would appear that this may be part of the Good Bishop’s mandate to promote the government.
Is it a case of who pays the piper calls the tune?
How can we take the event as a serious spiritual exercise or atonement?
Yours faithfully,
Nigel Bacchus
