Dear Editor,
I just read a report in your newspaper that a woman assaulted a cop in the station compound. This officer (name given) treats people with excessive rudeness and arrogance. She chased me out of the station when I went to find out why the police had my granddaughter locked up who is fourteen years old. She told me the girl big enough “to tek man” so she is no juvenile. She threatened to lock me up too when I tried to explain that my granddaughter should not be in the lock ups. She acts like a bully, not every time are people to be blamed. The police don’t always tell the truth.
I want the Police Commissioner to take note that this officer’s attitude is causing people a lot of unnecessary heartache like I suffered. I am an elderly woman and I went to the station expecting courtesy but got arrogance to the maximum.
Why didn’t the Sgt ask a junior officer to accompany the woman out of the compound. She likes to act like a bully. Since November 2007 I have been suffering from the injustice caused by her.
Yours faithfully,
Elaine Johnson
