Dear Editor,
In the present unrest in Tibet where the Tibetans are opposing Chinese occupation, Nancy Pelosi, the Democratic speaker of the American Congress said that the situation in Tibet is a challenge to the conscience of the world.
I do have great respect for Nancy Pelosi and maybe she is correct about what is going on in Tibet. However, the Chinese have brought some progress to Tibet during their decades of occupation.
On the other hand the Israelis have committed every crime against the Palestinians. They have taken away Palestinians’ land and fooled the world about the so called withdrawal from Gaza. Yet I have not heard any Western leader say what the Israelis are doing is a challenge to the conscience of the world.
If the world refuses to take notice of the Palestinian issue the Palestinians will have to fight to the last man or woman, they have no choice. As for the Muslim leaders, except for Iran they will remain American stooges.
