A 20-year-old man who allegedly stole three Red Cross donation boxes was placed on $25,000 bail yesterday when he appeared before the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.
Lindon David of 1827 Diamond Housing Scheme, East Bank Demerara pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was read to him by Principal Magistrate Melissa Robertson-Ogle.
It is alleged that between March 10 and 15 David stole three Red Cross donation boxes valued $2,000 each and the boxes contained a total of $10,400 in donations.
The accused was placed on bail and the matter will continue on April 18 in Court Two.
