Weighing-in for the competition which features some ten weight classes will be between 8:30 and 10:00am.
GAPLF has also made provision for athletes and interested persons to be transported from Georgetown via buses that will be assembled at the Linden Bus Park and set to depart at 9am on Sunday.
This competition has so far registered ten participants, two from Georgetown and eight from Berbice and registration continues until the morning of competition.
The weight classes are: under 111, 123, 132, 148, 165, 181, 198, 220, 240, and 265 lbs. There will be trophies awarded to participants placing first to third in each category as well as a best lifter prize awarded by the GAPLF.
