According to a police press release yesterday, a 21-year-old watchman of Mibicuri North, Black Bush Polder, is likely to be charged after it was discovered that he made a false report of a robbery.
On March 30, 2008 the watchman made a false report to the police at Mibicuri Police Station. He reported that he was on duty securing a bulldozer in the Mibicuri backdam when three masked men, one of whom was armed with a firearm, held him at gunpoint and took away the battery from the machine.
Investigations by the police revealed that the owner of the bulldozer had removed the battery after he went to check on the watchman and found that he was not on the job.
