Attorney-at-Law Khemraj Ramjattan was elected president of the Gandhi
Youth Organisation (GYO) at its annual general meeting last Thursday.
Former auditor general, Michael Goolsarran, was elected vice-president with Khalil Ahmed, treasurer.
The secretary is Y. A Persaud while Dru Bahadur will serve as auditor.
Ken Alphonso is the captain of the club’s first-division team while Derick Koulen will skipper the second-division side and Ahmed, the over-40 team.
Frank De Abreu, Arun Dahloo and Carlos Reid were elected to the management committee.
