A small but excited crowd gathered at the Courts Main Street branch on Wednesday to witness Baganara Resort Chef Trevor Marques prepare a meal using the ‘White Goods’ appliance range in the “Cooking at Courts” show.
The show was designed to promote the wide range of kitchen utensils in the ‘White Goods’ range that is only available at Courts. Hosted by Howard Lorimer the show kicked off around 10:30 am featuring the furniture giant’s staff in the role of chef’s assistants; outfitted in aprons and hats, peeling vegetables and preparing food for Marques to cook. Customers were then treated to a sumptuous spread of calaloo rice, Caribbean chicken, baked fish in lemon sauce, three bean salad and pineapple crumble with custard topping; all washed down with fruit punch.
