As the excitement builds up to the ultimate showdown at the Hugh Ross Classic Body Building and Fitness Competition on April 20 at the National Cultural Centre, corporate Guyana has continued to show tangible support.
On Wednesday, the organisers received the overall prize of one Yamaha RX 100 Motor Cycle which has been part sponsored by Mings Products and Services Limited.
The simple but significant presentation ceremony took place at the company’s lot 6 Urquhart Street head office, where Customer Service Representative Naitram Dhanraj handed over the keys to Athletes Coordinator Leroy George.
The winner of the overall posedown between the five male category winners will ride away with this grand prize come competition night.
Director of MPS, Audrey Ford, said that being a part of the show was part of their corporate responsibility.
“We have always believed in being a big sponsor of sport and education, in this case it is sports and we are hoping that it would go a long way towards improving body building and its activity in Guyana .”
George thanked Mings Products & Services for being a part of the show and added:“We look forward to working with you for future championships.”
And Sales Representative of King’s Jewelry World, Quamina Street, Mandy Narayan, disclosed that King’s would be presenting to Hugh Ross, Guyana’s most renowned Body Builder, one Gold medal made of Guyana’s finest metal for a fine performer.
Narayan said her company had always been supportive of local sportsmen and women and their overall development and would continue to do its bit to ensure that that continues at a very high level.
