The Guyana Hindu Dharmic Sabha (GHDS) says Ramnaumi will be celebrated on Monday.
In a press release the Sabha said Ramnaumi marks the incarnation of the seventh manifestation of Vishnu Bhagwan and is a major Hindu occasion. It is a day of reflection “on the life of Shri Ram whose sojourn on earth covered every field of endeavour,” president of the Sabha, Pandit Reepu Daman Persaud said.
The release said mandirs countrywide will host special services to mark the day and devotees are urged to attend. Special satsangh will be held at the Sabha’s Barr Street, Kitty mandir from 5.30 pm and at the Shri Krishna Mandir in Campbellville at 7.30 pm.
