A father and daughter ballroom dancing segment has been added to this year’s Mother and Daughter Pageant, giving patrons something more to look forward to come May 10.
The 17th annual show, billed for the National Cultural Centre (NCC), will be held under the theme ‘Love to Make you Dance’ in celebration of that unique bond between mother and daughter.
As the theme clearly states, dance will be a main ingredient in show.
Tickets, which cost $1,500, $1,200 and $1,000 (VAT inclusive), will be on sale at the NCC beginning next week and the huge crowd the show drew last year is expected next month.
Co-producer of the pageant Sulan Fung told The Scene recently that so far around seven mother and daughter pairs have been chosen for each of the three categories – Party wear (junior), Casual wear (middle) and Evening wear (senior).
