The Tucville Playfield will be a hive of activity from 19:00hrs today when the Georgetown Football Association (GFA) 2008 Guyana Telephone and Telegraph (GT&T) Cellink Plus 2008 Premier League tournament kicks off.
The event which is set begin at 17:30 hrs will commence with a march past of the competing teams.
In the opening encounter Georgetown will clash with the East Bank Sub Association while Fruta Conquerors U-15 team will face off against Thomas U-15 for fourth place in the Coca Cola competition.
The winners will receive G$500,000 and the coveted Cellink Plus Trophy. (KB)
