A 40-year-old man was remanded after he appeared before Principal Magistrate Melissa Robertson-Ogle on a charge of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
Joseph Narine, who said he lived at 113 Hunter Street, La Penitence, allegedly had in his possession 170 grammes of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking last Friday.
The self-employed tin smith was remanded until April 28 when his matter will continue in Court Five.
