The Commonwealth Association of Museums (CAM) and the Culture ministry are hosting a five-day conference from Friday aimed at introducing new methods of preserving exhibits and bolstering museums’ roles as learning institutions.
According to a press release the symposium will be convened under two heads: Museums in Pluralistic Societies and World-Watch One. “Biodiversity and Conservation, the intensive encounter has a central theme of “Museums in Diversity.”” The release said the meeting was open to all established members of the museum community worldwide as well as CAM members, associates and partners.
