Two journalists yesterday launched a ‘salary fund’ at ScotiaBank aimed at providing a weekly stipend for staff who are now unemployed following the suspension of the CNS Channel Six licence.
According to a press release from CNS Television the “CH:6 Workers Wages and Salary Fund” was the brainchild of Prime News reporters Nicole Telford and Ravendra Kishore.
Telford started the fund with a $1,000 contribution and she urged corporate and other citizens to contribute generously.
