Alonzo Greaves, in a time of one hour, 26 minutes and 16 seconds, won the schoolboys and novices category of the Universal Auto General Supplies-sponsored cycling programme on Saturday around the inner circuit of the National Park.
Second was Darren Alleyne with Geron Williams, third. Tony Simone, Jaikarran Sookhai and Linden Blackman, occupied the next three places.
Greaves’ dominance also extended to the prime prizes where he captured five of the eight which were up for grabs with Williams, Allen and Simone each grabbing one.
Richard Charles was the winner of the upright category from Johnathan Fagundes and Kunta Mc Kenzie respectively while Jason Pollydore was the winner of the juvenile category from Brandon Baker and Naomi Singh.
Aubrey Gravesande was the winner of the two person Over-50 race with Anthony Farriah second while Blackman won the veterans ‘Under-50 category from Kennard Lovell and Esau O’Selmo.
Pollydore claimed another category when he won the 12-14 year-old division again ahead of Baker and Singh.
Ozia Mc Aulay won two BMX categories, the Open category from Fagundes and Mc Kenzie and the 12-14 category from Jamal Cromwell and Quincy Evans.
The winner of the BMX 9-12 year-old category was Anthony Freeman with Desmond Fagundes second and Andrew Monique third while Raymond Perez won the BMX 6-9 year-old category from Rawle Mc Lean and Davendra Raghubeer.
On hand to make the presentation was Rohini Baksh, Managing Director of the company.
