Dear Editor,
I could not help but be appalled by the step taken by PNCR leader, Robert Corbin, to spearhead the protests against the suspension of Channel Six. Let us not forget why the station was suspended; they aired, repeatedly, a statement by a listener, that she would kill the President. Considering the level of violence in Guyana, this is not to be taken lightly, and the station showed gross irresponsibility in re-airing the call.
There has to be some kind of action taken in instances like this, otherwise there will be all kinds of violence-inducing and hate-filled broadcasts pervading the airwaves.
