A 60-year-old woman who was charged with murdering her husband was remanded to prison when she appeared before Magistrate Tejnarine Ramroop at the Blairmont Court yesterday.
It is alleged that on April 27 at Bennett Dam, Rosignol, West Bank Berbice, Thakurmanie murdered Yadha called “Ramsook Maikhoo”. The woman who appeared emotionless in the dock as the charge was read to her was not required to plead to the capital offence.
