Cabinet on Tuesday gave its no-objection to three contracts including one worth $75.5M for the procurement of exercise books.
Speaking at a post-cabinet media briefing on Wednesday, Head of the Presidential Secretariat, Dr Roger Luncheon, said cabinet had given its no-objection to the three awards worth over $106M in the public works, agriculture and education sectors.
In the Public Works, Sea and River Defence sector, $15.1M has been awarded for river defence works at New Forest, Canje River in Region Six.
Cabinet also gave its no objections to a contract for the rehabilitation of the Buxton pump basin, East Coast Demerara worth $16M and another for the procurement of exercise books for national distribution worth $75.5M.
