Lindener found in shallow grave

–three in custody By Heppilena Ferguson A relentless search by relatives of a Linden man who went missing eight days ago, ended on Monday when they discovered his body in a six-inch shallow grave some five miles from where he worked as a logger on the Makouria Trail, Essequibo River.

Dear Editor, The matter of Ranvanlee Chan, the 10-year-old boy from Sisters Village, East Bank Berbice, who was alleged to have been brutally beaten by members of the Guyana Police Force on January 1, 2008, is not to be put to rest because the administrators connected to this incident have been contacted by me in the hope that little Ranvanlee would be given a chance to overcome his ordeal.
