An unbeaten half century from former national under-19 captain and Guyana/ Stanford Twenty20 star Andre Percival, a five wicket haul from Abdel Fudadin and a splendid all round performance from West Indies opener Sewnarine Chattergoon were the highlights of the latest round of matches in the 5th Annual Guyana Beverages Limited sponsored Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club (RHTYSB) Busta Champions of Champions tournament played recently in Berbice.
Police fail to arrest RHWSB
At the Area ’H’ ground, defending champions Rose Hall Windies Sports Bar (RHWSB) whipped Police Sports Club by 123 runs. Batting first after winning the toss, RHWSB led by Percival’s innings of 65* (6x4s; 3x6s) scored 261-7 from their 46 overs in a reduced match. Wicket keeper batsman Delbert Hicks with 42, Renwick Batson with 34 and Berbice under-19 opener Eon Hooper (30), contributed handsomely with the bat for RHWSB against the bowling of Zaheer Moakan Stephens who took 2-44.
