Alonzo Greaves in a time of one hour, 57 minutes and 57 seconds carted off last Sunday’s Bico-sponsored Indian Arrival Day 50-mile cycle road race on the West Bank of Demerara.
In second position was John Charles while Ian Jackson placed third.
Darren Allen, Junior Niles and Tony Simon occupied the other three places.
Among the Juniors, Geron Williams placed first ahead of Enzo Matthews and Christopher Persaud while Kennard Lovell won the Veterans Category from Virgil Jones and Linden Blackman.
In the Upright Category, Kelvin Johnson won ahead of Dexter Wilson and Shawn Frank.
Brand Manager of Geddes Grant Staurt May distributed the prizes.
The race started at the Wales Police Station on the West Bank of Essequibo proceeded to Bushy Park before returning to the Demerara Harbour Bridge for the finish.
Bico Ice Cream was also distributed to the riders and spectators.
