Points leaders Sunburst Camptown Football Club (13 points) and second place Guyana Defence Force (11 points) will face each other tonight at the Tucville ground as action in the Georgetown Football Association (GFA) Premier League competition continues.
This match up should serve as an appetizer, whetting the appetite of football fans as both teams are to go against each other in scheduled to go against each other in the final of the Bakewell Buxton United Ansa Mc Al/ Digicel-sponsored Sweet 16 football competition tomorrow night at the Plaisance Community Centre ground.

In the opening encounter, fifth placed Pele Football Club (seven points) will oppose the team that is one slot below them Georgetown Football Club (three points) from 1800hrs.
A win for Pele would take them to 10 points and third position and Pele will look to Travis ‘Zorro’ Grant, Linden Simmons, Rawle Harding, O’Kenny Fraser and captain Dirk Archer for that to happen.
On the other hand, GFC’s lone goal to date came off the boot of Delroy Henry and an improved performance should be forthcoming form a team that was once the wonder boys in Georgetown’s football.
