Barama Company Limited’s Chairman Girwar Lalaram has resigned from the post for personal reasons and will be leaving the company effective May 31, 2008, the company said in a press release yesterday.
Company CEO Peter Ho in a statement said: “On behalf of the company, I would like to thank him for his contribution and will miss the passion and commitment Mr Lalaram brought to his job here at Barama. We wish him good health and great success in all his future undertakings.
The chairman has been with the company since 1995 and has been integral in promoting effective government and employee relations, and communicate the company’s goals to key stakeholders.”
He said too that Lalaram has contributed to the growth of the company’s overall operations.
Efforts yesterday by this newspaper to reach Lalaram failed.
