Close to two months after he allegedly slit his wife’s throat during a family row at Enmore, East Coast Demerara, police yesterday issued a wanted bulletin for Suresh Ramsingh.
Police said in a release that Ramsingh is wanted for questioning in relation to investigations being conducted into a matter of murder. Ramsingh known as ‘Yam Head’ or Termal is 28-years-old and 5 feet seven inches tall. He is brown in complexion, thinly built and last resided at Grass Field, Enmore, ECD.
Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest Ramsingh is asked to contact the nearest police station. Ramsingh is alleged to have killed 22-year-old Shaneiza Khan of Foulis, ECD on April 20.
Khan was discovered dead on the morning of April 20 at the home she once shared with Ramsingh her reputed husband of four years. Ramsingh disappeared soon after. A post-mortem examination had revealed that Khan died as a result of her throat being slit. She was also stabbed under the breast. Khan was discovered lying in a pool by her sister.
