Camptown’s Telson McKinnon’s proved a nightmare for the Thomas United team when he blasted 10 goals against them in the first round of the Guyana Football Assoc-iation’s DeSinco Trading Ltd. round robin knockout under18 football competition at the University of Guyana (UG) Ground yesterday.
McKinnon was in a destructive mood registering four goals in eight minutes when he found the back of the net in the 11th, 14th, 15th and 19th minutes.
He then added to his archive in the 30th, 43rd and 45th minutes to finish the first half with seven goals while Alistair Butters also did some damage for Camptown when he bagged a goal in the sixth.
Resuming from a 8-0 first half score Camptown added to their lead with Jahal Greaves scoring in the 54 while McKinnon continued his onslaught when he drew blood in the 53rd, 57th and 64th minutes as Camptown closed out the match 12-0.

through Curt Mensa and Shawn Singh who scored in the 19th and 50th minutes respectively as Renaissance sank to a 0-2 defeat.
In the other encounter at the UG ground Andrey Cummings, Akeem Kensinally and Odel Nelson were the goal scorers for BK Western Football Club in the 24th, 45th and 50th minutes respectively while Clive Cliff scored in the 40th minute for Santos Football Club.
