A motorcyclist died on Sunday after he collided with a donkey on the Fort Canje Public Road, Berbice.
Dead is Alvin Alexander, 52, of Lochaber, West Canje. Police in a press release yesterday said the accident occurred on Sunday night when Alexander crashed into the animal.
Alexander was taken to the New Amsterdam hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
