Police are probing an incident in which a businessman was attacked and robbed yesterday at Soesdyke, East Bank Demerara at about 3 am by a man who confronted him with a handgun and snatched a bag containing a large sum of foreign currency.
According to a police press release, businessman Winston Rajkumar was held at gunpoint as he was about to enter his motor vehicle and the bandit escaped in another vehicle that was waiting nearby.
