The Georgetown Football Association (GFA) has short listed 22 U-17 footballers to play a national U-17 selection today at a venue to be named.
Kick-off time in the friendly encounter is 3pm.
According to assistant secretary/treasurer of the GFA Lester Sealey, the nationals are expected to be involved in a series of friendly matches against representative sub-associations teams in preparation for the upcoming Caribbean Football Union (CFU) U-17 World Cup qualifiers in Trinidad from July 29- August 11.
The GFA squad reads: Goalkeepers: Seon Jackman (Pele) and Shevin Bernard (Fruta Conquerors).
Defenders: Brentnol Joseph, Gavin Cummings, Sheldon Stephens (GFC) Yusuf Brumell (Alpha United) Delon Gordon and Christopher King (Santos).
Midfielders: Jermaine Junior (Fruta Conquerors) Jamal Vigilance (Renaissance) Royell Ramsey, Daniel Wilson and Daren Benjamin (Pele) Travis Porter (B.K Int. Western Tigers) Delon Kelley (Santos) Shawn Barrow (GFC) and Pernel Dos Santos (Flamingo).
Forwards: Rory Lewis (GFC) Tavis Hackett (Fruta Conquerors) Dwayne Lawrence (Beacon) Kerwyn Benjamin (Pele) and Mark King Renaissance.
