Bank of Guyana (BOG) managers with 156 games hold a slim overall lead going into the final leg of the three-way aggregate Dominoes against Neal and Massy (N&M) and Republic Bank Ltd. (RBL) tomorrow evening at RBL Sports Club at Waterloo and New Market Streets.
Neal and Massy are in second position with 153 games while RBL are in the cellar position with 142 games.
Neal and Massy with 76 games won the second leg played at Bank of Guyana Roof Garden last weekend with BOG and RBL both ending on 72 games. Stanley Fung-a-Fat led the way for N&M with 17 games while Natasha Fitzpatrick chipped in with 15.
Jacklyn Blackman scored 15 and Wilfred Austin 14 games respectively for BOG while Terrence Archer continued his impressive form for RBL with 17 games supported by Pat Plummer with 12. Keith Johnson playing through scored 25 games. Plummer was the lone love bird.
N&M also defeated BOG at Whist with the Ruimveldt side scoring 357 tricks to their opponents from Central Bank who recorded 345.
The pair of Gerald Fowler and Rudy Jairam scored 123 games, followed by Captain Goberdhan Resaul and Gopiechan 117 and Ishmail and Geeta Lanbachan 117. Top scoring for Bank of Guyana were Lynette Northe/Maurice Mann with 123 games, Natasha Gordon/Tamily Pickering – 116 and Adel Chalmers/Nicola Duggan 106.
The managers of the three companies will also be involved in a table tennis showdown tomorrow evening as part of the Indoor series. Starting time is 6pm.
